Huge bushy pot with philodendron silver sword

Philodendrons come mostly from Central America. They are the members of Arum (Araceae) family. Philodendron as a genus, are probably the easiest group of plants to cultivate in the home and they grow very quickly. Climbing philodendrons are much more common than the bushy types and more popular.

Climbers – needed supporting at all times – you can use some thick bamboo poles or moss sticks. Moss sticks are more preferable as these give the aerial roots thrown out by something to cling on to.
Second most popular philodendrons are bushier than the climbing ones and they have much larger leaves. Normally fairly quick growers, they are ideal for offices and open spaces.
